Into the Madness

What? No poem? Not today, nor perhaps many days to come. We have just bought a house across the Bay in Walnut Creek! And we are fluffing up and spit-shining our  home of the last 30 years within an inch of its three-story life. Tales of relationship train wrecks, Ann’s shot-out-of-hell approach to house-finding, terrible trampling on toes, owing your soul and our time-frame to the contractor, friends who feel like we’re breaking up with them, hiring  the “We Lift Heavy Things” people, getting there, being there, strangers-in-a-strange-land and other great adventures have already begun to fall on us like fat rain drops in a thunder storm. So follow along if you like…more to come.

About Ann

I am interested in the strange beauty of brokenness, in transforming possibility in difficult times, in how we heal even when we can’t get better, in the alchemy of surrender, in the interplay of light and shadow, in the bounty of everyday wonders, in the gift of laughter…and writing about it, all and everything.
